Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
Jodi Picoult never ceases to impress me with her very intense and meaningful writing. She is amazing at creating and developing all of her characters so that they are easily relatable to the reader. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to read something that breaks the patterns of the common novel. It tells a great story about a boy Peter, who was just pushed too far and reacts to such harsh treatment. I love how Jodi shows the change and strain on relationships overtime between Josie and Peter, as well as the relationships between them and their parents. There are some amazing twists toward the end of the book that left me very impressed. Great ending. Overall very well written and enjoyable to read. - by Maria
